What Would Jesus Eat?

"When you enter a town and are welcomed, eat what is set before you." Luke 10:8

There aren't too many references to food in the gospels. Jesus usually refers to spiritual food, and aside from admonishing his disciples not to be picky eaters, he never asks his disciples "What should we do about dinner?" (OK, maybe he did--take a look at Luke 9:13 and John 4:8--but remember, we are talking about a man who went without food for forty days, according to Matthew 4:2.)
